Instructions

  • Slice up 1/2 onion and 1 tomato (in cubes) and put aside. Blend all other peppers. Cut, peel and dice yam into chunks. Heat a pot and pour in a quarter cup of oil (medium heat) and pour in blended peppers
  • Let it cook for 5 minutes; add cubed yams. Allow it to cook for 26-28minutes (use fork to test for softness of yam). add shrimp and ground crawfish
  • Serve with fresh fruits. It makes for the perfect hearty meal on a nice rainy day. The perfect comfort food.
